Preparing Children for Kindergarten Success
Kindergarten is an exciting milestone, and our Pre-K 4 and Universal Pre-K Programs are designed to help children feel confident and prepared for the transition. A Day in Our Pre-K Classroom
Each day combines structured learning with creative activities that keep children engaged and excited about learning.
Daily activities may include:
- Circle time
- Learning centers
- Arts and crafts
- Story time
- Music and singing
- Outdoor play (weather permitting)
- Spanish
- Sign Language
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided daily.
Kindergarten Readiness
Our curriculum focuses on building the skills children need for a successful start in elementary school.
Areas of development include:
- Early reading and phonics skills
- Writing and name recognition
- Number recognition and counting
- Math readiness concepts
- Fine and gross motor development
- Critical thinking and problem-solving
- Social and emotional growth
- Classroom readiness and independence
Children participate in engaging lessons centered around weekly and monthly themes that encourage exploration and discovery.
Universal Pre-K (UPK)
Bunny Bunch proudly offers Universal Pre-K programs for both the Starpoint Central School District and the Niagara Wheatfield Central School District. These programs provide families with an excellent opportunity to give their child a strong start before Kindergarten.
Tracking Growth & Progress
Children are evaluated throughout the year to monitor developmental and academic growth. These assessments help ensure every child is progressing and receiving the support they need to reach their full potential.
Celebrating Achievement
At the end of the school year, our Pre-K students participate in a graduation ceremony that celebrates their accomplishments and marks the exciting transition to Kindergarten.
