Our Pre-K 3 Program is designed to help children develop independence, self-confidence, and the foundational skills needed for future academic success. Through a balance of structured learning and creative exploration, children are encouraged to ask questions, solve problems, and discover the joy of learning.
We create a welcoming environment where children feel comfortable exploring new concepts while developing important social and emotional skills.
A Day in Our Pre-K 3 Classroom
Each day includes a variety of engaging activities that encourage learning, creativity, and interaction with peers.
Daily activities may include:
- Circle time
- Learning centers
- Arts and crafts
- Story time
- Music and singing
- Outdoor play (weather permitting)
- Introduction to Spanish
- Introduction to Sign Language
Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided daily.
Learning Through Play & Discovery
Children participate in hands-on learning experiences designed to strengthen early academic skills while encouraging curiosity and independence.
Areas of development include:
- Early literacy and language skills
- Number recognition and counting
- Shape and color recognition
- Fine and gross motor development
- Social and emotional growth
- Problem-solving and critical thinking
- Personal responsibility and self-help skills
Throughout the year, children explore a variety of monthly and weekly themes that make learning exciting and meaningful.
Special Experiences
Students enjoy visits from community organizations and special guests throughout the year, as well as seasonal celebrations and classroom activities that create lasting memories.
Preparing for the Next Step
Our Pre-K 3 Program serves as an important bridge between toddlerhood and Pre-K. By building confidence, independence, and foundational academic skills, we help children prepare for a successful transition into our Pre-K 4 and Universal Pre-K programs.
